When in Rome

I. Loved. This. Movie.

It seems like I haven't watched a movie with a really great hero in a long time.
This guy was a really great hero.

I don't do plot summaries--if you want to know what happens, watch it. :-)
It is rated PG-13, and we didn't watch it on ClearPlay, but there wasn't much bad stuff. You can read the review on Plugged in Online here

I loved that parts of it took place in Rome. Sometime, before I die, I'm going there.
And Italy is a lot more awesome than Ireland.
(Which is part of why I liked this movie better than Leap Year. Also because the hero's name
was Nick instead of Declan. Yeah.)

This guy was scary.

She didn't have very pretty/decent clothing, but she had good hair. And I really liked her as a heroine.
A lot more relatable and interesting than some.

These are some of the guys who are in love with her. They were all... creepy.

Ack. This guy. He isn't quintessentially gorgeous. But he's good looking. And tall. And hilarious. Which is definitely enough to make me happy.

This was one of my favorite parts:
Beth: "You think you're pretty charming, don't you?"
Nick: (thinking) "Yeah, a little bit."
Beth: "Well, you are, okay?" (walks off).

I loved it. :-)

Mostly I liked him so much because he was totally, outrageously in love with her,
and pursued her until he finally got her. I loved that.
I also loved that was was so much taller than her. (Did I already say that?)

He had a pretty cool leather jacket, too.

Have you seen it? What did you think?
