A couple weeks ago, I got to do my first-ever paid photo shoot. :-) With some really awesome people--my sister Johanna's family and in-laws. Beka is my brother-in-law's sister, and happens to my one of my favoritest people in the whole world.

It was one of those days where everything that
could go wrong...
did. But it was awesome, in a crying-and-needing-a-nap-baby, getting-rained-on, crouching-and-holding-an-umbrella-between-my-knees-and-trying-to-take-photos, running-out-of-light, getting-lost, freezing-our-faces-off, drinking-tons-of-juice-bags kind of way.

We started out at the train station.

Uncle Paul and Katie.

John and Johanna are awesome, and they make really cute babies.

Beka: "Hey, guys, let's all jump simultaneously like in High School Musical!
Adam: "Or not."

And got in the long, long line for Voodoo doughnuts.

24 |
I've eaten a donut from here once, but I've never been inside.
 |
25 |
This photo makes me really happy for some reason...
 |
26 |
HEAVEN. Look at those beautiful ones on the bottom right. Those are my life.

Getting greedy with the epic pink box.

{photo of yours truly, on the bridge I loved, taken by Johanna. ; ) } |
So even though the photos didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped, I had tons of fun gadding about with them downtown, and I learned a lot for future shoots. : )
